New Christmas Movies:

Love Hard

The new festive rom-com for 2021. Love Hard sees Natalie Bauer (played by Nina Dobrev) match with a love interest on a dating app and fly across the country to meet him for Christmas, only to realise that she has been catfished! A modern day love story that we absolutely loved.

Single All The Way

It's the most wonderful time of the year, so you know what that means... it's officially the rom-com festive season! If you're all about kissing under the mistletoe, then this is your movie for this Christmas. This movie sees two friends pretend to be dating as they head home for the holidays, when in reality it's much more than that.

Home Sweet Home Alone

This one is certainly one for the kids. Let's just hope they don't get too many ideas from this movie!

The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star

Vanessa Hudgens is BACK with the third instalment of the hit Netflix franchise. Without giving too much away, Hudgens is back for all three roles again (if you know, you know) and we are OBSESSED! The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star is now available to stream on Netflix.

Let It Snow

A Christmas comedy involving a group of high school students in town brought together on Christmas Eve during a snowstorm. Sounds intriguing right?

Holidate

We watched this movie for the first time last year and we have to admit that it's not one of our favourite festive rom-coms on Netflix. In case you missed it last year, the film sees Sloane (Emma Roberts) pretending to date Jackson (Luke Bracey) for a year in order to please the parents, only to find themselves getting 'the feels' naturally. If you're after a funny and festive movie to watch, this is it.

The Classics:

The Grinch

Who doesn't love the Grinch?? Whether you watch the 2000 classic with Jim Carrey or the 2018 animated version, The Grinch has got be on your Christmas Movie Watchlist (even if he doesn't like Christmas!).

The Santa Clause

What a classic. Now if you say the plot out loud it sounds like a horror movie BUT we promise you this is a must watch for all the family. The Santa Clause is all about holiday cheer and features jokes for both adults and children.

Elf

SANTAAAAA! I KNOW HIM!! Christmas in New York is what dreams are made of and so is this movie. We must admit, we did start watching this movie back in November and have probably watched it a handful of times already this December... we just love Elf okay!

Deck the Halls

Who doesn't love a bit of friendly competition? Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick certainly know how to compete in Deck the Halls! The pair's rivalry sees them go to increasing lengths to mess with one another, making a brilliant Christmas movie for all the family to enjoy.

Jack Frost

Jack Frost is not like most Christmas movies. All we are saying is, have your tissues ready because this movie is an emotional one.

For the hopeless romantics:

Love Actually

The Christmas film to end all Christmas films. What is Christmas with at least one viewing of Love Actually? We have to watch this movie every year and we just can't get enough!

The Holiday

Get your tube of Quality Street or Roses (whichever you prefer) and tuck in whilst watching quite easily one of the best Christmas movies out there. This festive classic is a must watch and with a star-studded cast, we couldn't love it more even if we tried.

Last Christmas

Last Christmas focuses on the life of Kate, a Christmas shop worker who is sick and tired of everyday life, and Tom, a handsome do-gooder who can't help but try to make things better for Kate. With a star-studded cast and taking inspo from George Michael's hit Christmas tune, Last Christmas, this movie is definitely one to bookmark in the diary over Christmas.
