TV Shows to look forward to in 2023!

Start marking your calendars now because 2023 is looking like an incredible year for TV shows, new and existing!

From new Marvel series to Bridgerton prequels, all streaming services are set to debut plenty of new content this year.

If you're already starting your must-watch list for this year, you're going to want to keep reading to find out what TV shows are coming out this year.

To help you plan out your TV watch-list, here is a list of the best and unmissable TV shows to look forward to in 2023!

That '90s Show

That '70s Show is back, just in a whole new decade with a new group of friends. The new show centres on the teenage daughter of Eric Forman and Donna Pinciott, Leia as she spends the summer with her grandparents, Red and Kitty in Point Place, Wisconsin. If you were a fan of the original series with Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, this show is definitely something you will want to add to your list.

The first season of That '90s Show premieres on Netflix on January 15th.

You: Season 4

Watch, out UK folk! Penn Badgley returns as the creepy and obsessive character in the fourth season of You. Although this time he's showing up as Professor Jonathan Moore as he embarks on a whole new life in London. Despite starting a whole new life in another country, we're certain that his life will still involve some murders. Expect to see a lot of new characters too.

Part 1 of the fourth season will premiere on Netflix on February 9th. Part 2 will then air on the 9th March.

 Outer Banks - Season 3

The Pogues are back for a third season! At the end of Season 2, we saw the group of teens back together safely after failing and escaping to a deserted island. With Season 3 right around the corner, who know what to expect! But what we do know is that John B's dad is alive and the Pogues are sure to get into more trouble.

Outer Banks - Season 3 is set to air to Netflix on February 23rd.

The Mandalorian - Season 3

Mando and Grogu are back! We just can't get enough of this duo and we're so excited to finally have a third season among us. Now even if you don't know The Mandalorian, you know baby Yoda. We can't wait to see more adventure in the galaxies after the fall of the Galactic Empire. If you are a fan of the Star Wars franchise and still haven't started The Mandalorian, then we suggest you start watching the first two seasons now...

Season 3 of The Mandalorian will air on Disney + on March 1st.

Bridgerton - Season 3

We're finally getting a season that focuses on Lady Whistledown herself, a.k.a Penelope Featherington! What we know about the plot for the new season is that Penelope gives up her long-standing crush on Colin Bridgerton to pursue the marriage market, but lacks confidence. Colin takes on a role as her confidence tutor, which perhaps works a little too well.

A date for the third season is yet to be announced but we hope we don't have to wait too far into the year!

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story

A Bridgerton Extended Universe? We like the sound of that! Now we all know how successful Bridgerton has been for Netflix, so it was inevitable that there would be more to come from the Bridgerton series.

While we wait for the next season of Bridgerton (which is expected this year), at least we have a prequel spin-off to keep us company.

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story is a prequel about the rise of Queen Charlotte. We'll witness her as a young girl and learn more about her need for drama. If it works (which I'm sure it will), expect many similar shows in the coming years.

The limited series will premiere on Netflix in 2023.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos

It was Agatha all along! The witch we love to hate had a breakout role in WandaVision and is now getting her own spinoff show. Starring Kathryn Hahn, Emma Caulfield Ford, Joe Lock, and Aubrey Plaza, there are few plot details for the new series but we're sure this is going to be a hit!

Agatha: Coven of Chaos is set to premiere on Disney + in late 2023.

Ahsoka

Let's take a walk down memory lane... we first met Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and the character made her live-action debut in the second season of The Mandalorian (played by Rosario Dawson). Now, the Jedi badass is in the spotlight in her very own live-action series debuting on Disney + later this year.

Marvel Studios - Echo

After her debut in the Hawkeye series, MCU antihero Maya Lopez, a.k.a Echo is getting her own series. Echo is the origin story of Maya Lopez and will see her character facing her past and reconnecting with her Native American roots, alongside embracing what family and community mean.

Marvel Studios Echo is set to premiere on Disney + this year.

 Loki - Season 2

In 2021, the first season of Loki introduced us to the Time Variance Authority (TVA), Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) AND a much more emotionally complex version of the trickster figure that we know and love to hate, Loki played to perfection by the one and only Tom Hiddleston.

Season 2 will see Tom Hiddleston up to his old mischief in one of the highly anticipated TV releases of 2023. The new series will continue to cover "new emotional ground" for Loki, as Ke Huy Quan joins the cast as a TVA archivist.

We're still waiting for a release date but we do know that the second season will be premiering on Disney + this year!

Secret Invasion

One of the most anticipated show of the Marvel universe in 2023 has got to be Secret Invasion. I'm sure you can all agree with us when we say it's about time that Nick Fury got his time to shine in his own series! Secret Invasion will see Jackson's Nick Fury team up with Ben Mendelsohn's Talos the Skrull and will highlight a faction of Skrulls, first seen in Captain Marvel, who have been on Earth for years.

Like a lot of shows due for release this year, a premiere date for Secret Invasion is yet to be announced but we know that it will be premiering on Disney + at some point this year.

Never Have I Ever

The final season of Never Have I Ever is set to air on Netflix this year. The series centres around Devi Vishwakumar, a young Indian- American girl and the struggles she has as she tries to navigate high school. As the seasons have gone by, we've been hit with many love interests and storylines, with a heart toward Devi overcoming the grief that her father's passing brought her. We'll definitely be tuning in for the final season with tissues at the ready because one thing's for sure, its going to be an emotional rollercoaster.

Season 4 of Never Have I Ever will air on Netflix in 2023.

As you can imagine, there are SO many shows set for release in 2023 and this is just the start...
