Our TV and Movie Favourites in March 2023!

Our TV and Movie Favourites in March 2023!

March has been an exciting month for new TV and movie releases and lets just say its definitely been a month of sequels! From highly anticipated movie sequels to the return of Joe Goldberg and Grogu, there's been something for everyone to enjoy this month.

The month of March kicked off with the return of our favourite galactic duo, Mando and Grogu in Season 3 of The Mandalorian - which had been a long time coming!

Other releases include Creed 3, John Wick: Chapter 4 and the brilliant but disgraced detective John Luther in Luther: The Fallen Sun.

With so many great titles to choose from, it's no wonder that March has been a standout month for entertainment. Here are just a few of our favourites that were released during the month of March.

TV

The Mandalorian Season 3 - Disney +

Mando and Grogu are back! Our favourite bounty hunter known as The Mandalorian is no longer a Mandalorian, having admitted revealing his face to Grogu. In the new season, his new quest is to find atonement on the poisoned planet of Mandalore, and re-join the cult that has defined the majority of his life.

With Mando and Grogu back together once again, they've started to work with Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff), who FYI, still wants the Darksaber.

It's such a treat to see our favourite galactic duo back together on our screens again and already 5 episodes in, there's plenty more to tease out as the season progresses.

New episodes are added every Wednesday with the season finale airing on April 19th.

You can watch The Mandalorian Season 3 exclusively on Disney+ now ( but you will need a Disney Plus account to watch the series as it is exclusive to the streaming service).

You Season 4, Part 2 - Netflix

Hello you.

In February we finally saw Joe Goldberg back on our screens, after what felt like forever.

The new season follows the twisted story of Joe Goldberg (played by Penn Badgley) as he navigates through his dark obsessed and twisted relationships once again. This time, a bit closer to home for UK fans. Season 4 is set in London, England and without giving TOO much away, if you are yet to watch the new season, expect your mind to be taken through some twists and turns!

We've now finished watching Part 1 and Part 2, and we're still getting over it.

Daisy Jones and the Six - Prime Video

If you love the 70s, then this is a show that you won't want to miss out on watching. Daisy Jones and the Six pays homage to rock bands in the 1970s and follows the insane highs and drastic lows of a band going from buzzy to the biggest musicians in the world - similar to Fleetwood Mac.

The series is based on the best selling book by Taylor Jenkins Reid, produced by Reese Witherspoon AND brings together an incredible cast including Sam Claflin, Riley Keough, Suki Waterhouse and musical input from Phoebe Bridgers.

You can stream the new series now on Prime Video.

Film

We've said it before and we'll say it again, 2023 is an incredible year for movie releases! And if the March releases are anything to go by, then it's looking like we're being well and truly spoiled this year!

Creed 3 - March 3rd

Creed 3 is not just another boxing movie. It's a story of tragedy and triumph.

Michael B. Jordan is a superstar on both sides of the camera. Who can say they made their directorial debut directing themselves? Well, Michael B. Jordan can.

Oh, and we can confirm that we were not expecting to be THAT emotional after watching this movie. From its epic training montages to the raw emotion shown by Michael B Jordan, Creed 3 carries a lot of heart and the story and message will certainly resonate with audiences across the globe.

Definitely a must watch! (Even if you're not a boxing super fan)

Scream VI - March 10th

Ghostface makes his Big Apple debut in the Scream franchise. Sadly David Arquette and Neve Campbell did not return for Scream 6 but the old cast is represented by Courtney Cox, whilst Jenny Ortega and Melissa Barrera reprised the franchise's two new lead characters who were first introduced in the 5th instalment. Hayden Panettiere also appeared as Kirby Reed, who is an important character in Scream VI.

65 - March 10th

Adam Driver fighting dinosaurs, what more could you want?

The movie 65 is all about an astronaut from another planet and a little girl who find themselves battling dinos on Earth 65 million years ago.

Yes it's not the most thrilling of thrillers we've ever watched BUT you can't fault Adam Driver in this movie. Although we couldn't help but wonder if his lightsaber would've helped his fight against a bunch of dinosaurs and all the other dangerous prehistoric creatures.

It's simple, but effective and we love Adam Driver.

Shazam: Fury of the Gods - March 17th

Who doesn't love a superhero movie?!

From it's family-friendly comedy to its jam-packed action scenes (that you can see what is happening and enjoy), Shazam: Fury of the Gods is a great addition to the DC universe.

It's an electrifying sequel that packs even more heart, humour and action than the first movie and we just LOVE Zachary Levi as Shazam.

John Wick: Chapter 4 - March 24th

Wow wow wow WOW.

John Wick: Chapter 4 has undoubtedly taken this movie franchise to levels we didn't even think were possible.

This movie has everything you could ever ask for in an action movie and it's most definitely not a movie you want to miss out seeing on the big screen, especially if you love action movies.
