New movie releases in March/April 2022!

2022 has already shaped out to bean exciting year for movies and we're only four months in!

With the return of theatrical releases in cinemas, we've got tons to look forward to and April isΒ looking likeΒ another incredible month for movies!

March saw the anticipated movie release of the year so far, The Batman and even amazing releases to streaming services, Netflix and Disney +.Β

To keep you up to date with all the latest movie releases, here is our new movie release radar for the months of March and April!

The Batman - March 4th

The most anticipated blockbuster of the month.

If you’re a fan of DC Comics or love Batman, then you are most definitely in for a treat with this one. The Batman hit cinemas on March 4th and is already proven to be a huge success with viewing numbers soaring through the roof.Β

If you were unaware of the new Batman movie, The Batman portrays the dark depths of one of DC’s most dazzling characters, exploring the deeper side of the superhero alongside a mix of excitement and amusement that most definitely keeps fans wanting more.

Prior to the release, fans were unsure whether Twilight star Robert Pattinson would be able to carry the famous character, but so far from what we’ve read (and seen) the responses have been positive so far. It’s even been said that Robert Pattinson could be in the running for being one of the greatest Batman'sΒ ever seen.

What do you think?

The Batman is available to watch in cinemas now.

Turning Red - March 11th

The latest Disney Pixar release has landed on Disney +!

Turning Red follows 13-year-old Mei who makes a startling discovery on the cusp of her adolescence. Under intense emotions comes a transformation like no other…Mei turns into a giant red panda!Β

From it’s heartfelt story and talented cast, we have no doubts that the movie will continue on its path to success.Β

Turning Red is a great coming-of-age story that Disney just knows how to perfect.Β

Instead of a theatrical cinema release, Turning Red headed straight to Disney + on March 11th. So, if you have a Disney + subscription, you can stream Turning Red now exclusively on Disney +.Β

The Adam Project -Β  March 11th

Now if you love Ryan Reynolds as much as we do then you will want to see this movie.Β

The Adam Project is a sci-fi, family, action/adventure time travel story that sees a fighter pilot from the year 2050 team up with his 12-year old self and his late father on a mission to save the future.

And if the plot doesn’t make you want to watch the movie then maybe the star studded cast will! When we first saw the trailer for this movie we squealed with excitement over a 13 Going On 30 reunion! Yes you heard that right, The Adam Project cast includes Mark Ruffalo playing Adam’s Father and Jennifer Garner as Adam’s Mother. And that’s not all…

The Hulk and Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy? Yes, the Marvel crossover we never knew we needed! Okay, so they aren’t playing the role of their Marvel Characters BUT Zoe Saldana also stars in this film alongside Ryan Reynolds as Laura.

The Adam Project is a Netflix exclusive movie, so to watch this movie you need to have a Netflix account.Β

Cheaper by The Dozen - March 18th

We LOVE Cheaper by the Dozen and Steve Martin is one of our favourites! When we heard there was going to be a remake, we weren’t so keen on the idea… (we just wanted it to involve Steve Martin to be honest).Β

The new Cheaper by the Dozen movie is a fresh take on the iconic 2003 hit family comedy. It follows the story of a blended family of 12, the Bakers, as they navigate a hectic home life while simultaneously managing their family business.Β

You can stream the new Cheaper by the Dozen movie now exclusively on Disney +.

(FYI - You can also stream the original Cheaper by the Dozen movies on Disney + too)

The Lost City - April 13thΒ

A star studded cast that we just can’t get enough of!Β

Meet the world’s most qualified or not so qualified adventurers in this new adventure comedy.Β

Miss Congeniality, Magic Mike, Harry Potter + Brad Pitt!Β  Who would’ve thought?!Β

Okaaay, so we’re not actually getting all these characters in one movie BUT the actors that played these roles are. Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe and Brad Pitt all star in the latest movie from Paramount Pictures The Lost City. Β

Did you ever think we would see all of these actors together in a movie? We certainly didn’t!

The Lost City follows adventure-romance writer Loretta Sage (played by Sandra Bullock) as she is kidnapped by a billionaire (played by Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe) who wishes to find the real lost city upon which her latest book is based. At the same time the model for her book (Channing Tatum) decides to prove himself to be the real deal by saving Loretta.

And to make this movie sound even more interesting, Daniel Radcliffe is in fact playing the villain in this movie! This is not something we've seen Radcliffe do all that often. Let’s just hope he’s not as scary as his most famous nemesis, Voldemort.Β

The Lost City is out now in cinemas in April 13th.

Morbius -Β April 1st

After many delays, we’re finally ready to welcome the next instalment of the Spider-Man Universe to the big screen. Yay! (Not like we’ve been waiting for ages)

We’re curious to see if or how this movie ties in with Spider-Man: No Way Home.Β

30 Seconds To Mars’ frontman Jared Leto stars as Michael Morbius, a scientist cursed with a rare blood disorder. Upon venturing to a mysterious cave in a bid to find a cure, Morbius finds himself invested with extraordinary vampiric abilities and super-strength, which he plans to use against those who would seek to destroy him.Β

The Bad Guys - April 1st

Nobody has ever failed so hard at trying to be good as The Bad Guys.

The Bad Guys will provide thrills and laughs for all of the family.

If you love Despicable Me, Minions and The Secret Life of Pets then we’re 99.9% sure that you will LOVE this movie.Β

Set in a world where humans and anthropomorphic animals co-exist, The Bad Guys follows a group of animal creatures who attempt to fool the world into thinking they’ve gone good. The Bad Guys features one hell of an excellent cast of A-List voice actors including Sam Rockwell and Awkwafina.Β

From what we have seen from the trailer, if The Bad Guys is half as exciting as its trailer, there’s a lot to look forward to!

The Bad Guys is out in cinemas from today.

Everybody’s favourite blue hedgehog is finally back for another next-level adventure. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will be speeding onto the big screen NEXT WEEK and from the trailers, we know already that Tails and Knuckles will be joining Sonic in the new movie!

With multiple references to the game series, a bigger role for Tails and some more familiar faces, we can’t wait to see what Sonic gets up to this time and we’re even more excited to see the arrival of Idris Elba’s Knuckles and Sonic’s best friend Miles β€˜Tails’ Prower.
