For 100 years, The Walt Disney Company's passion has been storytelling. From one generation to the next, the greatest stories live forever and the proof is in the magic. Disney magic, of course!
When it comes to celebrations, Disney does not hold back! The 100 years of wonder celebrations are set to take place worldwide BUT when it comes to the parks, Disneyland Resort in California is right at the centre of the momentous occasion.
Earlier this year on January 27th to be exact, the celebrations kicked off at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California with the grand opening of the new Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway attraction in Disneyland Park!
The celebrations in Disneyland Resort also include the return of the Magic Happens Parade, a brand-new night-time spectacular called Wondrous Journeys AND the debut of World of Color - ONE which celebrates the rich storytelling legacy begun by Walt Disney a century ago, bringing to life moments from favourite films including The Lion King, Moana, Ratatouille, Soul, Star, The Avengers and more.
Oh and we can't forget the return of the perfectly playful and animated worlds of Mickey's Toontown that opened just last week!
At Walt Disney World, Epcot is being treated to a brand new fireworks show replacing Harmonious AND at Magic Kingdom, the fan-favourite "Happily Ever After" night-time show returns on April 3rd including all-new projections along Main Street, U.S.A. We're not crying, you are.
As we speak Walt Disney World is still celebrating its 50th anniversary celebration BUT as of next week the celebrations will be coming to a close on March 31st. So fingers crossed we see some Disney100 decorations and celebrations entering the parks very very soon. (We're already starting to see the Disney100 merchandise slowly creeping into the shops!).
Across the pond in Hong Kong Disneyland, a new statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse is set to be unveiled.
New features and surprises will continue to pop up across all the Disney parks all year long, leading up to the company's 100th anniversary on October 16th.

From the merchandise to music, shows and experiences, from what we've seen of the Disney100 celebrations so far, they have been nothing short of magical and this is just the beginning!
We're already starting to see fans across the world come together to celebrate the milestone anniversary, and it's been spectacular.
Already, the Disney100 celebrations have given us the chance to reflect on what makes Disney so special. We have been reminded of the incredible people, stories and the amount of hard work that goes into making the Disney brand what it is today.
So as the Disney100 celebrations continue, we can't wait to see what else is in store for us Disney fans. For the time being, let's take a moment to appreciate all the joy, laughter and memories that Disney has given us over the past century.
